Leeuwendaal is an agency specialized in education, healthcare and government. They have a mission to make people, organizations and therefore the world a little better every day.
How do they do that? Writer Ronald Giphart played, thought, held meetings, advised and role-played at Leeuwendaal for six weeks.
About the design
I was asked to make the design for this book cover. Since engagement plays an important role at Leeuwendaal, I opted for a playful design where the M, B and W are connected in one line.
Vlucht naar Engelsmanplaat
This fictional war story is based on true events. At the end of the Second World War, the Dutch resistance attempted to miss two Allied pilots via the Wadden Sea. The two Americans had landed separately near Diever with parachutes a few months earlier, after their planes had been shot down by the Germans.
About the design
To emphasize the grim atmosphere in this book, I worked with charcoal and ink to create this drawing.
